Despite my Ohio childhood, I have lived in California most of my adult life. I have
raised two children who are now adults; a son and a daughter. I also have five grandsons,
and one granddaughter, and I have been a Christian since I was 35.
Previous to Heartfelt Adoption, I was a paralegal and
office manager to many law firms. I have also been a Drug Investigator for Dade
County, Greenfield, Missouri and have spent nearly five years in the nursing field.
For the past seventeen years I have exclusively been involved in adoption and the
betterment of adoptions. From 1996 - 2002 I was Vice-President to ACAP, a
group of facilitators and attorneys located in California. We are called
Academy of California Adoption Professionals or (ACAP) and are ever striving to
make the facilitation method the best that it can be.
I thoroughly enjoy what I am doing and cannot believe that it is possible to love work
like I do and even get paid for it! I couldn't be happier or more content with Heartfelt
Adoption. I encourage adoptive couples and birth mothers to check in with me regularly,
simply because I enjoy hearing from all of them.
While driving home from work in my car one day, I thought of the name
"Heartfelt." It is so fitting isn't it? Adoptions (according to my view) come
straight from the heart. All babies are not accidents in the sight of God. Our
heavenly father knows where he wants each of these precious little ones to reside. I
feel grateful that I have had the opportunity to change a small part of the world and make
it a better place both for the birth mothers who contact me and the adoptive couples who
receive these special gifts. Here's wishing all of you adoptive couples a HEARTFELT EXPERIENCE of your own!!!
