HEARTFELT ADOPTION FACILITATION FEES
To retain the services of Heartfelt Adoption
Facilitation Services
please certify mail your check with a copy of a signed Contract to Heartfelt Adoption
10649 Charbono Way, Rancho Cordova, California 92670
Note: A questionnaire must be completed, fees received, and a contract must be signed before Heartfelt Adoption can assist any adoptive couple with a birth mother match. Heartfelt Adoption will also want to talk with you by telephone prior to signing up.
HOW MUCH?
I am most often asked - "How much?"
An average adoption is approximately $20,000.
Depending upon the laws in each state, and the circumstances in each adoption this amount may
vary. I usually experience a high rate of turnover and I am
always in need of adoptive couples who will be loving parents and
provide a good home for these babies.
A Non Refundable Fee of $5,200* is due at signing of contract, for
a commitment to render adoption facilitation services involving
education, support, resources, advertising, and networking in
connection with the routine independent adoption of one child or
sibling group within an eighteen-month period whichever occurs
first.
*A refund maybe requested within a 72 hour period, with the
exception of $750.00, for initial interview.
ADDITIONAL POTENTIAL FEES NOT INCLUDED
IN HEARTFELT ADOPTION FEE
Additional fees may or may not include attorneys fees, agency
fees, support for the birth mother during pregnancy, medical
costs, an Adoption Service Provider (depending upon your State),
and possibly counseling fees. Many of the above mentioned fees
will be determined by the State which has jurisdictional rights
governing the adoption and whether or not it is an agency
adoption or an open/independent Adoption. Clients understand that
some of the birth mothers are contacting Heartfelt Adoption
directly and others are provided and managed by other adoption
professionals who charge fees for services rendered in connection
with that adoption situation. Clients understand that in order to
pursue any adoption situation provided by and/or managed by any
adoption professional, they must retain the services of that
adoption professional. Of course, no costs are assessed to
the birth mothers. Some pregnancy related expenses such as
maternity clothes and food may be required. Some states do
not allow for living expenses. A "match" occurs
when the birth mother and the adoptive couple are mutually in
agreement; the adoptive couple wants to adopt her baby and the
birth mother is happy and willing to place her child with them.
You will have an opportunity to talk to the birth mother by
telephone. If mutually agreeable between you and the birth
mother, you may want to follow up with a meeting prior to
selecting your birth mother. Adoptive couples choose from the
birth mother who first chose them. Full disclosure to the
adoptive couples will be made about each birth mother. All
information will be made available.
Please refer to Contract for
complete contract language.
