Heartfelt Adoption Business Information

Heartfelt Adoption is a Facilitation Service.  It is not an agency.  Heartfelt began in January 1992 as a home-based business and I am totally dedicated to helping pregnant women in a crisis situation. There are some weeks that I spend 70 to 80 hours toward this cause. Many times the phone line does not stop ringing until late at night, only to begin early again the next morning.  Adoptions are my hearts desire and I truly  love doing it!!!  For over fifteen years, I have been assisting birthmothers and adoptive couples with the most  important part of any adoption....the match.  Finding the right birthmother and matching with the right couple cannot be overlooked and should certainly not be discounted.  The foundation is everything!

Services include 24-hour crisis services available for women in crisis pregnancies. Before a birth mother selects her adoptive couple she is counseled in the area of her rights and informed about her options of parenting the child, as well as an open discussion about abortion. I seek a bonding and rapport that is based on honesty and integrity, toward me as well as toward the adoptive couple. Pregnancy verifications are a must and medical reports are provided to the adoptive couples when available as well as a full disclosure of information received.

I require $4,800 up front and a signed Contract.  In most occasions there will also be some pregnancy related support for each birth mother. A "Match" occurs when the birth mother and the adoptive couple are in mutual agreement.  A good match is when  the adoptive couple wants to adopt her baby and she is happy and willing to place her child with them.

The adoptive couple may provide their own attorney, or with the agreement of all parties, they may use the birth mother's  Attorney for finalization.  Adoptive couples can now choose to finalize their adoption here in California.  We have wonderful adoption laws.
